How to use the webapp

The content inside the engine is classified into 'Event Types' like Elections, Protests, War and such. These are displayed by icons. If they are too close on the map, things can get messy. That's why they transform to clusters for events of the same type. This is surely not the final state of our UX, but a step in the right direction

Clicking a cluster will show you the articles underneath their locations in that cluster

For any clicked location you can retrieve a list of the entities most relevant to that location. Any highlighted entity will show a quick wikipedia-driven summary and the articles they appear in.
